#4RHC Sponsors A Four Rivers Christmas
Four Rivers Healthy Community recently donated $1,000 to the Four Rivers Cultural Center in support of its annual A Four Rivers Christmas Event.
"Last year the Cultural Center hosted an extraoridnary community Christmas tree lighting event that included a light show featuring more than 50,000 lights. As a community partner, 4RHC is excited to help support this event in 2015," Four Rivers Healthy Community Executive Director, Casey Clark Ney said. "We are fortunate, as a community, to have this amazing facility led by the vision of its director, Matt Stringer who values the importance of having a community gathering space that brings us together."
A Four Rivers Christmas kicks off on Thursday, Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. at the Cultural Center. This free event is the Cultural Center's gift to the community. It includes a sychronized light show, grand tree lighting, magician, Santa Clause & Treats, carolers, band musicians and so much more. Many community youth clubs will be selling warm chili and baked potatoes, along with cider and hot cooca.
