OPINION: Councilors’ reaction to partnership is puzzling
We’re a bit confused by some Ontario City Council members’ reaction to a potential partnership with Four Rivers Healthy Community.
The nonprofit recently approached the city with a proposal to collaborate on a community recreation center. The center would be built at the current Ontario Aquatic Center site, where the city’s pool has sat, drained and empty, since September 2013.
